Celine Bolomey studied drama at INSAS in Brussels and has appeared in more than 20 theatre productions throughout Europe. She has worked with directors Galin Stoev ("Antigone", "Tchékhologie", "Oxygène" and "Genèse n°2"), Omar Porras ("Bakkhantes"), Brigitte Jaques ("L'Illusion Comique") and most recently, with Brazilian director, Enrique Diaz in "Près du coeur sauvage" by Clarice Lispector. Celine's television work includes the British TV series, "The Hidden City" (Richard Johnson, 2001). Her film work includes NOEMI'S JOURNEY (Michel Rodde, 1986) which was her first leading role, and ON DIRAIT LE SUD (Vincent Pluss, 2002), which won the prestigious Swiss Film Prize and the Seoul Grand Prix 2003. In 2008, she was again featured in a film by Vincent Pluss, THE NOISE IN MY HEAD, which will be released in 2009. For her performance she received the Quartz, the Swiss Film Prize 2009 as "Best Actress".
Jury's comment: "She is already a confirmed talent, but the jury felt that she will soon have a role that will enable her talent to blossom on screen. She has an enviable capacity to blend into the environment of each film."
