Monday 13 February 2012: Ten of the most promising young actors in Europe chosen by a high-profile jury of film industry professionals as the 2012 SHOOTING STARS have concluded a whirlwind weekend of events at the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival with photo-sessions, meetings with casting directors and filmmakers, a workshop with international agents and a press conference, culminating in a glittering award ceremony this Monday night.
Jury member and actor Thure Lindhardt and international film star John Hurt welcomed the ten actors onto the Berlinale Palast stage to receive the SHOOTING STARS Award – donated by main partner TESIRO to honour their outstanding artistically achievements in feature film. Afterwards the ten young stars celebrated with VIP's from the film industry at the China Club.
