What does being a Shooting Star mean to you personally?
It's been over 10 years since my Shooting Stars year but I still look back to it with warm and excited feelings. The experience all of us young actors from all around Europe shared was truly magical.
What project are you working on now?
The new season of VIKINGS currently airs worldwide. I have a couple of other projects in the pipeline but it's still too early to speak about them.
What was your favourite Shooting Star moment / do you have a favourite anecdote from the Berlinale weekend?
I'll always remember hanging out of the roof window with Nuno Lopes and Ruth Negga driving around Berlin on our way from a Shooting Star event to another. Oh to be young, wild and free again...
What advice would you give to young emerging actors awaiting their 'big break'?
Be patient and stubborn the right way. Find other passions in life besides just acting to keep your mind at peace.
Have you kept in touch with any of your fellow Shooting Stars/ filmmakers/ casting directors you met during your time in Berlin- or worked with them?
I met most of the casting directors for the first time when I was a Shooting Star. Nowadays I meet many of them, like Leo (Davis) and Lissy (Holm) at different occasions and we all remember that first date.
